Implemented by the Women’s Humanitarian Organisation (PWHO), this project supports vulnerable children attending UNRWA and public schools in Beirut refugee camps who are registered at PWHO’s educational centers. Children receive daily meals — including sandwiches, fruit, or vegetables — throughout the year to protect them from hunger and prevent future immune-related health issues.
Project outcomes: Preschool children at Bourj Al Barajneh Camp receive 100 sandwiches and 100 pieces of fruit or vegetables daily, six days a week. Children in retention support and BLN classes across Bourj Al Barajneh and Mar Elias receive 220 sandwiches and 220 pieces of fruit or vegetables daily, five days a week.
