Circus Workshops — Mar Elias Camp

Implemented by LEM in collaboration with Ciela Academy and the Women’s Humanitarian Organisation (PWHO), this project targets 30 students at Mar Elias Camp in Beirut. Its main goal is to empower children and youth through artistic and physical activities that combine learning, creativity, and self-expression.

The program consists of 44 training sessions across two teams of 15 boys and girls each. Each team trains separately through regular sessions that combine movement games, concentration exercises, balance, and body expression. Participants are guided by professional circus trainers under educational supervision, in a safe and supportive environment.

Project objectives: Introducing basic circus skills, promoting cooperation and social inclusion, encouraging individual creativity, opening new learning and career horizons, providing psychological support and positive energy release, and fostering a culture of initiative and continuous learning.

This project is funded by LEM / Ciela Academy.
