Empowering Vulnerable Communities in Lebanon with Future-Proof Digital Skills

Implemented by the Women’s Humanitarian Organisation (PWHO) in collaboration with Lebanese American University (LAU ACE) and Talentdu, this innovative program equips underserved communities in Lebanon with essential skills in artificial intelligence and digital marketing. Designed to address the growing demand for digital proficiency, the initiative provides participants with foundational knowledge, hands-on training, and access to internship opportunities.

The program includes online learning, in-person training sessions, and a capstone project, preparing participants to excel in the digital economy. Key components include skill-building in AI tools, digital marketing strategies, and certifications from LAU ACE. The initiative prioritizes inclusivity, offering equal opportunities for women and marginalized groups, while fostering pathways to remote work and entrepreneurship.

Over 100 participants are expected to benefit from the program, with 20 fully funded scholarships currently available. Top performers will secure internships with different partner companies and organizations. Early success stories reveal transformative growth, increased digital literacy, and an expanded network of opportunities for participants.

This initiative is funded by the Equality Fund, Canada.
