Summer Inclusive Activities

Supported by Young Roots

This project is unique and welcomes young people with disabilities and refugee children (PRL, PRS, Syrian and Lebanese excluded from education and most other activities in the camp. The project aims to support young people with academic, psychological and physical difficulties, providing a safe place to play during the summer, providing young adults with the opportunity to acquire the skills necessary to improve their chances of finding employment afterwards.

The most important features of the project include literacy, arts and crafts, and other recreational activities, weekly topics on cultural, environmental, health and ethical issues, organizing trips outside the camp boundaries to the surrounding area, and the annual performance of the songs, dances, poetry and traditions of their friends and family.
