About Us:
Women’s Humanitarian Organization (PWHO) is a grassroots non-profit organization founded in 1993 and registered with the Lebanese Ministry of Interior and Municipalities under the No. 161/AD, its main office is located in Beirut - along with its two community-based operational offices.
Rooted in the Human Rights principles and followed the Sustainable Development Goals, PWHO is working to meet the humanitarian needs and strengthening the vulnerable communities through Health, Protection, Education, Shelter, Basic Assistance and livelihood Sectors, maintaining the basic principles of humanitarianism, neutrality, impartiality and independence.
In coordination and networking with local associations and international organizations, we are responding to the humanitarian crisis and alleviating the suffering from the emergency situations, fighting poverty and supporting socio-economic development initiatives for youth and women, stimulating inclusive lifelong learning, empowering capacities, and providing access to protection for all people at risks, along with providing high quality of healthcare services to the neediest populations including elderlies without discrimination.

Our Mission
To inspire and empower the vulnerable in Lebanese communities, Palestinian camps and gatherings, through providing effective means of protection, lifelong education, lifesaving healthcare, access to livelihoods and lobbying for their human rights.
